For our 13th edition, we're moving to a world-class new home — Marina Bay Sands! It's our largest edition yet: a bigger space, a dedicated Spirits & Liquor Zone, and our craft-beer festival Japan HopFest – SJ60 Edition running alongside (ticketed separately; VIP ticket holders get free access). Expect longer sessions to slowly enjoy tasting a wide array of sake and other Japanese beverages.

Sake Matsuri runs four 3-hour sessions on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November 2026: Session 1, 11am – 2pm and Session 2, 4pm – 7pm each day. The halls close from 2pm to 4pm for turnover. Pick your day and session when you buy your ticket.
VIP tickets are valid for the full day, giving you access to BOTH sessions on your chosen date.
VIP tickets include everything in a regular ticket, priority access to masterclasses, and access to the VIP Lounge — a dedicated rest and seating area where VIP guests can relax throughout the day.
VIP guests may continue to use the Lounge between 2–4pm during the session turnover. Please note that sake tasting will pause during this period as all tasting booths will be closed for turnover, and food and beverages are not provided in the VIP Lounge.
VIP tickets also include 2-day access to Japan HopFest (Sat 28 & Sun 29 Nov).
Your ticket includes unlimited sake and spirits tastings featuring over 500 selections from more than 100 breweries and distilleries, plus a complimentary tasting glass and access to all Sake Matsuri festival zones, including the Spirits & Liquor Zone. Masterclasses are included too (limited seating; sign up in person at the Masterclass Lounge, with priority access for VIP ticket holders). Japan HopFest, our craft-beer festival running alongside, is ticketed separately (VIP tickets include 2-day HopFest access).
Limited tickets may be available at the door, but we strongly recommend buying online in advance — past editions have sold out before the festival weekend. Early Bird pricing is only available online until 31 Oct 2026.
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. However, tickets are transferable - you can transfer your ticket to another person by contacting our support team at least 48 hours before the event with the new attendee's details.
Yes. Sake Matsuri is held indoors at Hall C, Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, so the festival goes ahead rain or shine.
Children and teenagers under the age of 18 can enter free of charge but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. They may enter without a ticket, but will not be given a wristband and tasting glass. A valid ID may be requested for alcohol service.
No, each regular ticket is valid for its specific 3-hour session to keep the festival comfortable for everyone. If you'd like to stay longer, you can buy a ticket for another session (subject to availability), or choose a VIP ticket, which is valid for both sessions on your chosen day.
Registration takes place at Marina Bay Sands — look for the Sake Matsuri welcome banners and registration desks. The exact check-in location within the venue will be confirmed closer to the event and on your ticket. Registration opens ahead of each session. Please have your ticket confirmation with the QR code ready; a valid photo ID may be requested upon check-in.
Your festival wristband will be issued at the registration desk after your ticket is verified. The wristband must be worn at all times during the festival and grants access to all included areas and activities for your purchased session. VIP ticket holders will receive a specially colored wristband for VIP lounge access. Wristbands must not be removed, as they cannot be replaced. Guests wearing a wristband for an incorrect session may be asked to leave to allow access for ticket holders of that session.
Late arrivals will still be admitted to their purchased session, however, your session end time remains unchanged. For example, if you have a 4pm - 7pm session and arrive at 6pm, you will still need to exit by 7pm. We recommend arriving at least 5 minutes before your session starts to allow time for registration and to maximise your festival experience. No refunds or extensions will be provided for late arrivals.
We encourage cashless payments for faster service. Each vendor sets their own accepted payment methods, which may include credit cards and PayNow. Availability of payment options may vary by vendor.
Ride-hailing services can drop you off at Marina Bay Sands. Use the venue's designated pick-up and drop-off points.
The nearest MRT station is Bayfront (Downtown & Circle lines), which connects directly to Marina Bay Sands.
We appreciate responsible drinking! Designated drivers can use the paid parking available at Marina Bay Sands. Please check in at the registration desk on arrival. Designated drivers are welcome to enter the festival area while accompanying ticketed guests, but will not receive a wristband or a complimentary tasting glass.
Once you've registered, follow the signage to the festival tasting halls to enjoy sake and spirits. Hall locations will be clearly signposted at the venue.
Yes! Visit the festival food hall to enjoy a variety of dishes (prices are separate). Opening hours and exact location will be signposted at the venue and shared closer to the event.
A series of masterclasses will be available during the festival. Seats are limited, so please sign up in person at the Masterclass Lounge — the location will be signposted at the venue. VIP pass holders receive priority access. Registration for each masterclass closes shortly before it begins, so be sure to register early to secure your spot!
Yes! Many vendors offer bottles for sale, though stock may be limited—so if you find a sake you love, don’t wait too long!
Absolutely! Many exhibitors sell bottles on-site at special festival prices, so you can take your favourites home. Alongside us, Japan HopFest – SJ60 Edition pours Japanese craft beer (ticketed separately; VIP ticket holders get free access).
Staying hydrated is key while enjoying all the sake! Visit our festival bars around the venue to grab water, soft drinks, and other refreshing beverages.
