Itch’s musical journey is inspired by the local and regional “local exotic funk a-go-go” music from 60s to 90s, groovy exotic Asian
His vinyl DJ set specialises in deep Asian sound and introducing the forgotten local music gems to modern listeners, and brings back nostalgic vibes for old-timers.
Currently, Itch is a resident DJ at Offtrack, and his monthly event “NIGHTCAP”introduces Asian City Pop and Boogie.
Besides DJ, Itch has selected Singapore and Malaysia music to “Asian City Music Disc Guide” published in Japan.
DJ VANAN M
Vanan M has come a long way from his humble beginnings of Djing at house parties. He has gone from holding residences playing at live music venues playing in-between the live bands to full time engagements at KuDeTa. This was where he met the DJs who influenced his sounds further.
Starting off as a funk and hip hop DJ, he slowly turned his attention towards house and techno. In 2014 He joined Canvas Singapore as their head of entertainment till 2017. He currently Djs regularly at his home ground Honcho Sg.
Vanan M has played in South East Asia’s top clubs including Mustache Bar (Bangkok), Jenja(Bali), Le Noir(KL), Canvas(SG) & Pisco Bar(KL) alongside various top DJs such as Arjun Vangale, CTRLS, Adrian Hour, Amine K, Wisdy, Dan Buri, Victor G, Mamsa, Matt Smallwood, youANDme, Chelina Manuhutu, Murat Kilic, Oliver Osborne and many more
